I have brought the new sv5 and on start up it says 8882 on lcd, I have not downloaded firmware on to the box yet and everything seems to be working fine. my channels are still locked on the dollar sign but once firmware as been added will this unlock the channels or does the 8882 mean it wont work at all???? please help

dont worry about it saying 8882 on start up, it does.

make sure box is powered off, insert usb, turn box on, load software, once it goes to menu screen turn box off, remove usb, power up and scan etc.

dude thanks for the tip it dint work for me... i tried doing it twice on the last turn on it says 8882... there is two turn off one is at the front of box and one is at back.... which one did u mean.. i used both..
