How do you get permission to download?

iv had a look at it and it doesnt say anythink about keepin it in or takin it out, nether does it say anything about what size GB u can use!
and at the end of the day im just askin no need for the sh*t!

ok m8 liten up just a bit of fun.. no you dont have to leave it in. a 1 gig usb will do to update the box. make sure the box is turned of completely before you take out your usb.

Hi all, just got a "The Box" USB II & looking for the firmware updates. Tried a version & got a not a IRD file error.

Will have a search around this site to see what is around - any help gratefully rec'd.

Ok I'm pretty desperate now, I have the firmware, my starview box used to work fine now lost all channels, not sure if i've been n3, I'm in the Leeds area. Tried reinstalling according to instructions, nothing.
can somebody help?

If you could let us know what model the box is ie Sv1,2,3,4 or 5 ? it will help m8
