starview 1 clone "0" on display

    starview 1 clone "0" on display

    hi for some reason my first gen starview clone seems to be playing up recently....it somtimes displays a 0 on the display and there is a green screen on the telly....sometimes it gets stuck while switching on displaying a -...............i have read i need to replace some kind of fuse inside? can any1 give me a better indication?

    If your not into cap soldering and don't mind shelling about ?8 for a replacement power supply board mate , that's another option , always assuming the "clone" power supply board and genuine are compatible ? .

      thank u for the help mates...yh i think it is th cap...i desoldered th c21 cap and th box seems to work fine but does tht make it unsafe....and where cn i gt th psu frm

        got mine from an ebay trader for ?8 new Mate ,but that was a 12mth or so back , gve it a look .
