hd combo nightmare

somebody please help me with this stupid frickin box! loaded grooverider, cable searched loadsa channels there "but" yellow highlighted channels unviewable, white highlighted ok!! I've now wasted too many hours of my life poncing about and am going to smash it up if it won't work!!!! what am I missing???

read the bit in red at top of starview section which says,Starview HD Combo LAN & NON LAN STBs . all you need is here, very easy to do, my 5 year old knows what to do. just need patience and read carefully.
