    bad coax connection on starview

hi all, had a starview for about 4-5weeks, has all been working fine, except for every other day, it goes off/scrmbly, and i have to push the fitting on the coax in and hold it in, basically play around with it for fcuKin ages till it works again!!! i have tryed new f plug connectors and stripping the cable but still keeps going off , its quite damn annoying to say the least, any1 have any similier probs?

if in doubt get a new cable as old coaxial cables dont get replaced as new technology does, some people are using 20yr old coaxial, also make sure you have a good scart and fully pushed in.
    what do you mean off?

the coax is about year or so old, black sattelite cable from, b and q, i tryed using the a-rated stuff which is given with virgin, same results, its a dodgy connection on the fitting converter that is on the end of coax that goes into the back of box, when i push this hard it works fine, clear as a bell, when i let go it goes off, no signal? i fiddle with it for abit and works fine, sometimes for a for days sometimes for a few minutes and have to repeat this.

try a different cable that has a tighter fit,if not it may be a connection inside, then it would need to be returned.
