Got my Starview 5 today, installed it but just got the free channels - rest have $ signs. Have read most of the comments of today now I will download and then upload the firmware.
The file is .BIN do I just copy this to the USB stick and then access the stick ?

I know this is slightly off topic but im living in Dublin , i have a starview 4 super Usb box .. I was wondering if this box is totally useless now ?? Im not pushed bout movies and sport channels but i miss all my discovery channels etc .. can anybody help me or do I need a starview 5 now ??

A subbed cable box is one you pay a subscription for! if you need to know more phone your service provider they will be more than happy to help

I have Starview 5 usb2 Once I have downloaded file on USB do I power off unit Plug in USB and then turn on.... and that is it...or is there something else

I have even gone as far as posting it in text as some find it difficult to extract so there are 2 versions there help yourself m8.
