The Box PVR ???

Just been given one of these by a mate and asked to get it working !

I've never heard of or seen one of these before any idea's as to what it is and where I can find support for it ?

cheers mate , found some pics of it on google and it appears to be a "starview pvr 2007 The Box PVR Ready twin tuner"

any idea what model this is and what files i'd need for it

Is there a way to get all the channels in order like the Krypview does ?

Use can use the SVCE, (Starview Channel Editor). This and instructions on how to use it are in downloads. Kryptview and others having channel mapping, but the PVR you have doesnt.

There was a new USB Starview PVR released on 09/09/08. The older dual tuner PVR has been discontinued.

No all SVs have their own dedicated firmware.

Guys I have been eyeing one of these boxes myself and am wondering how viable they will be for the future software wise if they are now discontinued??

yeh i wish it does, iv got one of these and need the fixed firmware.

the pvr box hasnt had an update since 11jul2007- that is the only loader firmware out.

i need a fix for this new issue, like many others. help someone

Hmmm I only bought this box about 9 months ago, so if they don't being out an update for this box then I'd say that is very poor support.
