I have recently purchased a Starview combo in december,2009. I have lost many channels. I tried downloading the firmware on a usb stick but I am told I may not have enough rights to download.Please help! Please let me know how i can restore all my previos channels for the North London area(Telewest). Thank you ,

Welcome to the site.
You should be able to download after approx 20 mins.
Make sure you put the correct firmware on. There are 2 for this box

no need to reload software if it was working before, it should work now. check cables, check no work is being done by virgin, and if you have another box, or can get hold of one then try that.
