Starview 5 installation instructions

I am still running my old Starview 1 box, this has been an excellant servant but now looking outdated.

I have just bought a Starview 5, which has scanned and found channels but only shows the FTA channels.

There are no real instructions and the supplier would not help when I phoned today.

I have gotten lazy and just used to entering key codes on my old box.

Please can someone intelligent point me in the right direction.

Hi and welcome to DK

if your box is not flashed you will need to put the latest firmware on it first.

if your from leeds your box is toast.

Starview 5 up and running thanks to you guys

A big thank you to everyone for your sound advice.

Downloaded your instructions and firmware in seconds, box now flying, piece of piddle even for techno retard like myself.

Press menu > 1570 > scroll to Keydata & switch on > scroll to set default press ok > exit to a $ channel & wait for update or of course you can read the tut in the red stickies at the top of the starview page

have you got latest firmware on box??? check menu, system info!!
