Starview HD combo

Sorry cant help, never saved mine, but maybe its what I need too.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this.
In Ireland RTE have decided to broadcast TV in Mpeg4. This renders my digital TV useless for picking up local TV. The TV can pick them up but can"t decode them So when I seen the new statview combo HD box, with mpeg4 decoder I though happy days. I can use the one side for the satellite, the other for fta local TV. The problem is I can"t pick up any fta stations on the cable side. I upgraded the software, and I can pick up all the NTL scrambled channels, but not the fta. Tried every setting, and I know they are there because as I said the TV can pick them up. Anyone got any ideas, have I wasted my money?

ive recently sold conax and via mpeg4 cams to guys in ireland and NI i asked what they used them for and its was for mpeg4 DT they fitted them in there hdtv with cams slots but i believe some tvs wont support them mper4 cams

its it possiable to upload fta firmware from the combo if so someone tell me how and will do it or even box to box ?

Hi Alex thanks for the help, can you give me any more info
on the conax mpeg4?
Still haven't managed to sort it out, just about to give up, can't find any help anywere on the subject!
