    Channel Sort

Morning all, or afternoon and even evening.
Just got my father a new USB2 since I'm moving out and taking my trusty Mk 1 silver with me. Everything set up fine, all but one strange issue. The SORT channels is greyed out.. well golded out, either way it's un-selectable.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks

On both the SV 4 & 5 there is no option for sorting the channels, they are in service providers order which imo is much better and easier to use, whilst in 1 category if you press ok you can move to movies, sports, documentaries etc, you can however still put them in your personal fav category but they are still in service providers order.

Thanks for the quick response, I will stop trying now then. I suppose my first reaction was to sort the same way as my silver box sorts. I'm sure it will be better for him this way.

I hate the way with previous starviews after every scan you have to sort the channels this way not only is the scan much quicker but you save time with the favorites, also the epg is much better, it will give you upto 5 days of programme guides, you do have to update it daily and for some reason it will not show 11pm but if you are used to a sv1 then a great function.
