missing channels

today ive had a problem not being able to receive itv or channel 4. all the screen says is not able to find a signal. i have no other problems getting channels. anyone else had this today? any tips on what to do? i have re-scanned a few times and still nothing.

also just a quick q on my SV5 i cant seem to get the menu bar along the bottom off the screen.

Are you doing a direct scan? ie no splitters, you could also do a manual scan on that channel.

we have a splitter as we have a box in living and dining room. was just a auto scan not manual.

factory reset first 0000 to delete,power off at back for a min/on remove any splitters first,auto scan your provider and emu or keycode to on/enable and exit out.
you need a full strength signal,no splitters or extensions when you scan.

Same problem for me today - no ITV or channel 4.
Was working fine the other day.

Mansfield area.

None of the ITV or C4 options work - expect for 'ITV Audio Desc' and 'Channel 4 Audio Desc'.
So I'm using them in the mean time (hopefully I will have the option to turn the narrator off).

however go to all channels menu and select itv or c4 from there this worked for me try that

same here, no channel4 or 4+1 since yasterday, tried all retune, will wait and seei it sorts its sel out as its happened before,
my epg is also acting up a lot lately, I download it a hour later gaps in the epg, any ideas?

i have also has the same problem. last nite itv and channel 4 (no signal) i tryed rescanning and changing providers a few times and got them back, but now 24 hours later just watchin celeb bb and its gliching, so is itv, all other channels fine, im in derby area, so it looks like this problem is in east midlands area? from this thread, looks like were next for nagra 3 after leeds? wounded.

it is well known for outside tps to go down if faulty or upgrading,if you have done all as in no 5 post you may have to wait for provider to fix the problem.

im in the manfield area looks like we have a problem the strange thing is i get itv and ch 4 through our normal cable box but not through starview will try the rescan without splitter to see if this does anything

my mate lives down the round from me he also keeps loosing the itv and channel or keeps playing up. hes got starview 4
