Updated Starview 5, have channels but very few channel names!

I've successfully installed the firmware onto my SV5, its picked up several channels, however very few channel names. This is causing problems as several channels share the same channel numbers. For example I may have 10 channels all labelled as channel number 40. When I press 40, only the first channel with that number appears. Where the name of the channel should be is instead just a number, up to four digits in length. When I click EPG, there's information on what's on for all channels. Perhaps there exists a patch of some sort that once loaded onto my SV5, will pick up the channel names? Any help is much appreciated.

factory reset 0000 to delete, auto scan correct provider having removed any splitters first, and then enable keycode and exit out.

splitters can cause scanning problems,so remove and scan from direct feed, your provider may be tw try scanning on that, correct provider you will see loads of names coming up on scan.
