The Box Super Help

Hi all, I was hoping to get some help from anyone. I have presently got a V+ with all the channels in my main room, but have acquird a Box Super from a friend that i would like to use in my bedroom. I am a bit stumped after having read through this forum as to how to get it up and running with all the same channels i have in my main room.

I set it up in the room and done a scan, but can only get terrestrial channels ITV/BBc etc. Any channel that has the $ sign it cannot receive the signal. I really need to know what file i need to download to get it on the box and how i go about it. The version i have on the box says the following.

API VER: 8.04e_E
Boot Ver : 8.0

I know i will need a RS232 cable, but not sure how i go about puting it on the box and in what order i should do it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

have you tried rescanning it.
menu factory settings (0000)
auto scan
when done go to menu press (1570) turn emu to on
exit out to tv and let the box update.

Press menu - type 1570 on RC - press default key - enable emu - exit all the way out to view channels.

You already have the latest firmware. If some channels are missing carry out a a factory reset, scan again on your SR and turn emu back on.
