Help with Starview 4 PLEASE!!!

Hi to all Starview Guru's I already have a Dbox2 which is great but I have been given a Starview 4 and seems to be a good box BUT!!!!! some of the channels dont work but if you goto the all channels the same channel is there and it does work but is on a different localtion. I have seen the menu and there is a channel edit section I type the default code 0000 which gets me in BUT for some reason the move and sort are grayed out can any one out there help me out on this.

try a factory reset first,0000 to delete all channels,remove any splitters first due to signal loss,auto scan your provider,then exit out and press menu1570,enable keycode/emu same thing and exit out.
may also pick up hd channels but cannot view.
these boxes scan in the same sequence as providers box so you cannot move to my knowlodge only in favorites.

You can't move or sort the channels on a sv 4/5, you will be better off doing a factory reset and rescanning,
menu > factory reset password 0000 > when you have done auto scan turn keycode on by menu 1570 and also on same screen press ok on set default exit and leave to update on a $ channel.
If you want to group your most viewed channels together you can use fav but they will be in the service providers order.

Thanks Guys I should of done some more looking in this forum Sorry I should know better by now. I have just this second found out about doing the Factory Reset and it worked a charm once again thanks to all.

sometimes with a different box which you are not sure about and with sv4 and sv5 better to ask first than dabble as these boxes love the 8882 problem.
