Hi , can anyone tell me from experience whether this box can record one channel whilst watching another? Thanks.

only if its (starview the box pvr twin tuner), i have this box and as far as i know this is the only one with this feature.

Thanks for the reply. I mean the new starview HD combo, i know it's got a cable and a sat tuner, but is it possible to say record a cable channel then watch a sat channel? Can anyone with one of these boxes confirm whether you can do this?

No. But very rare you can press the OK button whilst recording and watch a different channel that is on the same responder.

Can you partition the hard drive so only half is used for recording, and other half say use for the Wii as it need to be formatted differently.

I have the starview hd combo box and yes you can record a channel and watch a different 1 at the same time
