Starview HD combo plus with LAN

Just tried loading the updated firmware for this box and I keep getting update failed at 20% please check memory. My memory stick looks fine as i have used it recently and I have also tried another one which I formatted and still get the same message. Can anyone help ????

Are you sure you are putting the "with LAN" software on a box with an ethernet socket on the back? If no ethernet socket, you should use the "non LAN" version of software. I had the same situation when trying to put non Lan on a Lan box.

the best way to do it is format usb in combo, rather than pc, then put software on stick and try again.

Thanks for your help but I now have it working, the problem was not the usb stick, what I did was I updated the software using an older firmware package (from Dec) and this worked ok and then I updated using the lastest firmware. All is fine now so if anybody gets the same problem use an older firmware first and then it will update with new firmware releases.. thanks again for all your imput..
