i'm in the teesside area and like a lot of people lost quite a few channels last night on my old original starview 1...i have all back up and running with no problems....factory reset the box re-installed latest firmware (all which can be found on this excellent site), re-scanned box...everything back to normal...plus a few extra channels......no need for total panic about n3 yet

Guys there are changes being made to all exchanges over the country.

This means channels will go off for a short time while these changes are made.
This is an indication that soon you will not recieve anything.

thanks cg i think most of us are aware that we'll all have new doorstoppers pretty soon...but not much point giving up the ghost until they slam the door in our face......re -flashing etc is just a quick fix but might as well have those channels while we can

Lots of activity by VM staff around where i live, putting in cables into the green roadside boxes, does that mean its going to happen soon!
