just done a factory reset at first i didnt think it had worked was just showing 59 channels after scan have a starview 5 usb box then when i looked through channels on menu i found i had all channels back only one little niggle FX channel on 511 on sports menu where sky sports one should be but when i go to all channels sky sports 1 is listed there on channel 511 clicked on it and hey presto its there so how can you get 2 channels on same number i can live with this little niggle as just happy i got all my channels back

hi my channels have all gone down, re-tuned but all the pay channels have still not come back i'm in leicestershire but family in notts have the same box and their's is off as well. any new codes to put in would be great. i have a friend looking up new codes at the mo so if i hear anything i will post them...sybal7

all the boxes down in leicester at the min leave it a while they should come back later if not just do rescan



@ sybal there are no new codes but if you think you have found some somewhere, please dont post them on the forum. keep them to yourself or send them via pm system

unicorn if you go to edit channel on the menu screen and delete fx on 511 skysports one will replace it. sybal7

Thanks for all the replys. Just switched my STARVIEW SUPER USB on (am in Leicestershire} and no channels only some bbc ones. First time this has happened in 18 months since I got it. As stated should I just leave it then rescan or do I need new firmware

i have just rescanned one of my kryptviews and the channels are back all be it all over the place, dont know if they finished meddling or not yet.

I'm in Nottingham and had to load firmware 1.12 to get sly sports 1. Factory reset - flash firmware - channel scan.

go to firmware 1.12, as long as your box is not a clone.

I got a starview 3 (non clone) with 8.02e firmware..

I did a scan soon as I got home and that didnt work, which I didnt think it would

I then did a factory reset then a scan again and woo hoo all the channels are back..

however FX is on 511 where sly sports 1 should be....can move it around but cant change the channel number for FX.....will just mark that channel as skip as i dont watch it

lets hope I/we dont have to keep going thru a factory reset and scan each day

oh and the PPV channels are now 43 and 50..not between m0vies n sly sports like before.....but no biggy

You need to go into chan edit and either move/delete 511 FX theb 511 will become SS1

There are many posts on the FX/SS1 subject throughout this thread if you get stuck !

just downloaded software v1.12 onto box having had 1.07 since had box 18 months ago. Everything is up and running again Leicster area. Just the slight problem with the FX thing but that is nothing

All you need to do is ...

Go to Menu (whilst on chan 511)
Select Channel Edit
Then select DELETE
Then select 1 channel
Then select 511 FX
Then ok it etc

And now you will have SkySports 1 on 511
