starview 4 lost channels. is this nag 3

    hi.

i live in leicestershire and have the starview 4 box. just recently i have started to loose various channels however i am still getting some, is this through the introduction of nag 3.

i have done a factory reset on my box and re scanned the channels yet still getting the same, meaning the channel is showing on the epg yet a black screen appears when you select it. i have been told it cant be nag 3 yet because a lot of people have not had viewing cards, however another forum is saying that the switch over is happening now.

does anyone have any ideas that might get the channels back for now if the switch over hasnt happened yet.

    thanks

confirm which box you have please... the exact name if possible... Reason being is that i dont understand when folks say starview 4 etc etc

and from there maybe I could Know what software you box takes and which steps to take in geting your viewing back to normal

And yes your channels should be working just fine until you receive your new Smart card.

    regards

download this firmware and install it

Digital Kaos - Downloads - The Box Super USB V1.12

        and then rescan

        set default key

        turn key code on

        exit 3 times

go to a $ channel and wait for code to update

        Enjoy

yes more or less anything to stop boxes from working usually a factory reset and auto scan fixes most but the sv4 original has to be flashed with v1.12.

check first if your box is a clone.
