starview 5 initial set up

hi can any one tell me how to set up a starview 5 box do i have to update firmware first or is it plug and play,go easy been using dinosaur d box thanks

they normally come with only the free to air firmware on them

latest firmware is here Digital Kaos - Downloads - TheboxSuperUSB2_v2.03.20090923.BIN
