starview begginers problems

    starview begginers problems

    hello again i got my box sv combo box with lan today and tried to upload the firmware from groovrider the one for the lan box but it keeps failing at 20% ive tried 2 different usb sticks and tried to format the stick with the starview box but still not having any luck any suggestions ??

    it appears you need to load earlier version and then load the latest after.

      ok i got the firmware on it and updated it to the current one but i cant get any channels fta or otherwise on the search i put in the symbol rate as 6887 and it comes up no channels found, is it possible that ive only put the sat side on and not the cable i thought it was all on the groovrider firmware

        if your using a splitter remove it and put cable direct into box, also try setting the scan range from 001 to 900 (131 to 900 works well on TW), step size 8MHz and the symbol rate to 6952 (TW or exCW) or 6887 (n**).

          ok i tried putting the cable directly without the splitter and the step size 8MHz and the symbol rate to 6887 cant find how to change the scan range still no luck :S i just did a factory reset and am scanning again but still no joy whats going on ?
