I am more of a dbox man, I haved been asked to sort out a starview USB. There are some missing channels however he gets epg just no picture. I'm gona check firmware in a bit, just wondering if firmware needs changing is it done through rs232 or USB. If USB how?

you need v1.12, and yes load via usb. software and tuts in red at top of starview section.

Got it working, it did need the update from 1.07 to 1.12.

How do you locate latest firmware for Starview 5?

I have recently purchased the starview 5 and was wondering how do you locate the latest firmware on it?

Also what is the latest firmware and what is it's advantages.
