Starview 1, New Keys?

Hi All

I have a Starview 1 and I lost all my channels last night except the free to air ones. I did the usual and done a factory reset and reenabled the Emu key, but still no channels. I loaded up my Keymaster v1.2 to see if there are any new keys but none were shown. A mate of mine had the same problem but he said he got new Keys so I got them off him and tried those but still nothing. So I am at a loss.

Any ideas or help is appreciated

forget keys, just load software and it will autoupdate, software in red at top of starview section. also where are you based.

Thanks for the reply I am based in Fife, I have had this box for around 3 years and have never had to update it, I just use the keys that were provided in Keymaster. The main reason I have never tried updating the software is I have heard that if the box is a clone it could destroy it by updating the firmware and I have no idea if mines is genuine or a clone. The keys always worked for me aswell, so no need to update it at that point.

there is clone safe software on here, but no new keys, so you need to load software.

Hmmm, ok, doesnt look like I will be doing any updates any time soon as all my Computers are legacy free and the Starview 1 box doesnt have a USB port. Do you know if the key will be available at some point?

you need latest software, any how, no boxes will work soon with nag3

check with provider for area faults,if your box was working 2 days ago it is not a flashing issue but if moved into the nagra 3
area nothing you can do.
factory reset auto scan from direct feed and emu and set default key and exit out.

Yeah I have heard that the Fife area will be using narvision 3 by the summer.

i have got a star view box 5 put latest software in it still not working right why and i only get a few channels and what channels i do get it takes about 10 mins for this page to open why
