Had the same problems myself, kept getting scrambled channel or no signal.Connected the box with a new coaxial lead and now everything working fine.

when u say there is glitching and so on... could you explain a bit more please and you setup as well

my setup is both cable and sat...cable side is fine, but the end is nigh, however the sat side i use with cs..tried 3 different cs servers..they all cant be bad...same problem , glitching and freezing...box needs rebooting....tried every fw release, definately box related problem...tossers at starview wont do anything about it...not very happy, spent over ?200 on this shite..

I knew this years ago and believe me I been saying this all along that these boxes are shite and the starpoo team will not give you any support reagrding it now.

Gota hand it to them and there marketing skills I wouldnt be suprised if the next box comes out in a months time

mate sell the box and add money on top and grab a Dm500HD or a Dm800 clone box for 220 quid.

As i mentioned to you before its nothing to do with the CAM or the Servers... The fact of matter is that the fault is within the software it self.

I've tested a box and it works great, less glitching than my DM800 clone. As an example, watched inglorious basterds last week with just one glitch all the way through, using 8th Jan firmware still, not seen any need to update.

so how would i go about setting this HD box up to my sky dish i have all the cables just sat at back of telly so im ready to go but have not got a clue !
any pointers in the right direction or to a noob tut guys ?
and thanks i got it tuned to cable but as my bro installs cable he said we only got a few more weeks before the dreaded turnoff (boohiss)
