Upgrading the cam will not solve your problems of glitching and so on.

there is nothing wrong with the Ccams... CCCam 2.1.3 works perfectly fine.

I know the box has issues from what I have read on what people have posted here... A buggy software I would say.

being a closed source box, it would be intresting how you suppose to install a new cam on there

I would Imagine that you would have to wait for starpoo to bring out a new software with the updated cccam 2.1.4... which wouldnt suprise me at all.

See this is why linux is so much simpler... Reason being you could have added 50 quid more and got your a DM800 which is a HD box as well.

And with the Enigma Image you can download all cams from the Cpanel in secs.

I forgot to add... being a LAN box is not possible to FTP the files across?? just a thought. Then u can just FTP them across using a free FTP software like Filezilla.

didnt know that they were gonna bring out a DM 500 HD mate... coz am definetly aware that there is a Dm8000 which has a faster processor.

I will defo look into the DM 500HD... Sounds very tempting dude.

Why dont u just sell that box off, if you can.

Put it this way the box claims that you can stream and stuff if am right.

if that is the case then am sure it gives you a LAN IP in the communications setup.

Check the menu options and see if it does give you a LAN IP

if yes then you then download the Filezilla which is a free software and configure it

And if it allows access to the box.

But knowing these boxes. most likely you wont be able to do that at all.

        Worth a try mate.

if all fails, Sell the box to someone and add money on top and get a Linux box of your choice.

Apparantly the starview server is down and will remain that way for the time being. No change in cccam.cfg will help this.
