starview 3. really gone off.

hi. my starview 3 has gone off. im in merseyside area.
i have tried re setting, re scanning, emu on etc. but only freeview chanels.
on the nagravision screen i used to have different operators, like ntl etc etc,
now all that is in the nagravvision box is
Omne,
A0 01
01
97 AE A8 E5 08 A0 01
nothing else.

can anyone help please?

try pressing the set default key to see if it updates,nagra 3 is near.

ive tried setting default key. but still the same.

also bbc 1 and 2 dissappeared a week ago and dont come on any more

are you scanning from the main feed no splitters. have you done a factory rescan ?

its the main feed.

menu factory settings (0000)
auto scan
then menu (1570) turn emu to on.
then exit out to tv and let the box update.

Starview 3 the box super

Hi all hav spent numerous hours tryn 2 get my starview 3 up n running n checkn all the threads but still havn probz. Hav put firmware 8.04 on, default key set, 5A01 for telewest, emu on, no splitters but ppv channels keep updating. Any ideas any1 ? It's wreakin my head !

Thx 4 getn bak m8y, hav tried the reset, no joy. Only had it a week n a bit new 2 this, but thought I'd av a go! I take it 8.04e is the latest firmware even tho it's 2008 so not sure why it hasn't taken ? I've been over n over the threads but can't c wat I'm missing, except 4 decent telly !

Aye aye cacti, av tried post 6, not joy, it does the rescan n piks up 317 channels, no unusual messages, ppv 1s r ther but just keep scanin 2 170% n then do it all over. Wen I look at system info it doesn't say anythin bout 8.04e firmware just 6.0 shows ? The flash did say successful tho. Didn't av a feed plugd in wen put new firmware on as my comps on the sick n did it at my m8s but think celts thread said u didn't need 2.

if system info doesnt show 8.04, then its not taken, need to reflash.

Thx boomer, I should av checked the version in system info early, plonker ! Now wen I've reflashed using same firmware gtrom 8.04e I get ld80 Which ppl say is flash not taken, 15 trys l8r same thing, thought I'd killd it but can still get freeview, weird. I was getn to 15% download succesful, box resets itself, says ld80 then bak wer I was b4. Luks like the firmware won't take 4 sum reason. Any ideas ?

what is an emu? dont seem to be able to find it on starview 4 box?Can anyone help?
