IDR Error when trying to install V1.12

My Box Super USB is running v1.07 but the channels have slowly started to disappear. According to this site the best idea is to install v1.12.

I have factory reset the box and then tried installing v1.12. After about 2 seconds i get an "IDR File Error".

Tried a second time straight after, goes to the progress screen then freezes.

I'm now lost and need some more ideas of how to get around this IDR error and get v1.12 installed.

Cheers for any help in advanced!

      1. Dragged the .bin file onto my FAT32 stick (Computer)
      2. Turned off the power on my Starview box
      3. Put the stick in the back
      4. Turned on the box
      5. Went into USB and selected the .bin file
      6. Few seconds later i get the IRD error
      7. Try it a second time straight after, the progress bar comes on screen and then everything freezes. I have to power the box down.

Formatted the USB stick i was using and then dragged the .bin file back onto it. Done the above and installed fine :-)

Hi dj, did you format the stick in the starview box, or your computer, have a new box and getting the same message, tried several different virsions of the bin files?

            thanks

Big thank you to everyone on the site, after 8 hours trying to get my new SV5 flashed, trying all the different firmwares, this link made me format my memory stick on computer, instead of through the box, thus changing it to FAT32, now works great
