Can any1 help please??? i've flashed the latest firmware 8.04 on my box but when i go to rescan my box it doesn't pick up any channels tv or radio tried flashing older firmware 8.02, 6.00 and then 8.04 again but nothing seems to scan. Any suggestions cheers

your scanning on the wrong transponder

and secondly check that the cable is plugged into the correct coax connector

Scan with no splitters attached to the line.

i've tried my mates SV4 and it scans perfectly so no wiring problems. I'm doing a auto scan so dont it pick up the transponder automaticlly? thanks for your suggestions

where are you??
have you scanned on all providers? i cant get any with nt hell but get them all with xc/w or t/pest

did you factory reset box then try auto scan your provider.
coaxial into cable input.
if that does not work try a fresh firmware file as that may be corrupted.

Hi Guys,

Tried d/l the 8.04 file from your site and from a different one, the signal i receive is from NTL but from day one i was told to scan TW channels, this has always worked with no problems..now i've installed the 8.04 file andnow when i scan on TW - 0 channels are found, if i scan on NTL or Chorus it tells me 331 channels are found but none of the channels work, I live in Teesside area if that makes any difference, any other advice?

ok factory reset scan on n*l emu to on and set default key and exit out.

Thanks for the response......i did the factory reset, scanned on n*l, it only found channels on TP 4 & TP29-TP61 = 331 channels found.

Changed Emu to ON, set default key, now when i try and put any channel on i get an info box pop up which says 'data is being updated.....[0%] and it doesnt update, it just hangs there and nothing happens ?
