dont know anything about this box was given as a gift.

When going into system information the information given is-
STARVIEW
API ver: 2.57e_E
Boot ver: 7.0

All channels have disappeared and display a blank black screen.

From looking on other threads we have followed the instructions of how to reinstall the channels by deleting them and adding the code 1570, enabling emu and turning the default key on. After searching for the channels none of the channels still work. We use the NTL option when doing an automatic search is this correct?

when we put it on a $ sign channel to update, it will not go past 0%.

Any help on how to get the channels back?

Ive looked on that thread, our area is on there and it is under the 3.7 bit, what does this mean?

What will be the best update to use?

It means your free tv days are over m8, 3.7 is nagra 3 stream.

MMMMMMMMMM not quite over im 3.7 but my SV5 is still working m8 it will be soon i know but at this time its still working

i would have said factory reset 0000 to delete,coaxial cable from wall to cable input,auto scan your provider,wrong provider
=no channels,when correct provider found named channels will be found,then exit out,then press menu1570,key emu to on,also press set default key and exit out to update.
