lost channels

hi guys have lost nearly all my channels on my starveiw 5 box 2day, ive tried all the usuall things , rescan , factory reset , 1570 code etc & no joy, btw my mates have told me just about all the cable boxes in our area have gone off , looks like virgin have sent some sort of blocking signal out. ne1 got suggestions of wat 2 do ?
