major strview 3 ( the box super ) problems

hi peeps,

i am having major issues with my box . my s/w version is 8.04. i previusly lost all my channels and now when i scan for nthem i get a couple but they dont even have their names on them.

they come up as e.g tv 1830 or whatever.

i have tried alot of things and was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this for me

just done all of what you sed and the channels i have got have no names still and i havnt got any sports or moives or anything .

are you scanning with direct feed into box, if using splitters, remove these, scan on direct feed, and put splitters back on after.

have you tried scanning with another provider???
