STARVIEW 5 USB II NOT WORKING

when installing my new box, which installation do i choose from i.e ntl, tw, ex c&w etc. im from birmingham and cant seem to get it working. i added the lastest firmware (V2.03), but still no luck.

ive just recently subscribed to you know who and they came round to connect. do you think they may have done something to stop new customer from using these boxes????

if your not sure, ask a neighbour, ask who supplied cable before virgin, if they say ntl, bear in mind some areas of cw were taken over by ntl, so you may have to scan cw, but if you try all you will get a result.

If your new box is on N3 there is no hope of getting the SV working on N3 its of no use sorry to say m8

a) plug a known working 'chipped' stb to the signal and see what you get.

b) search on google or indeed this forum and read the results

c) (the easiest way) add the place you would like to find out if N3 has been rolled out in and politely (please and thankyous) ask if somebody will do A) or B) for you
