    problems flashing starview 3

    hi im trying to add the new filmware and the download fails everytime and uadl comes up on the display am i doing any thing wrong would love some help please.

      try forced download, start download with box off, then turn box on after 5 seconds, this may take a few attempts

              no not done 1 before and im using the cable that came inside the box with the receiver

                  tried the download and turn on in 5 seconds but still get UADL on the screen im so in the dark here.

                      by cable, do you mean the one that goes from your pc to your sv3?, still might be wrong rs232 cable, but if it came with box, should be ok. what f/ware is already on box??

                          yeh the rs232 cable that came with in the box with the sv3.i hav'nt got a clue what filmware is on it. keep trying but no joy. without the rs232 pluged in the display reads ld80 i dont know that's anything to do with it.

                              can you get any channels? check menu, system info. this will let you know what f/ware is on...

                                  Make sure this is the firmware you are using
