    Starview 4 missing channels

    Hey guys,

I'm new to this so sorry if I ask any silly questions! I have had a starview 4 box a months months now using the firmware V1.10. However, in the last couple of days, some of the channels no longer work (a no signal sign appears on the screen). I have tried the V1.12 firmware but the same channels are missings.

Has anyone got any ideas why this is and how it can be fixed? I live in London if location has anything to do with it. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

a lot of the London area has gone to nagra 3 or in the changes, so I think it might be the end of the line for you.
what part of London are you

I believe the Asian channels are amongst the first to go and then bit by bit the rest follow and as far as these boxes are concerned its the end

Yes I have done a factory reset, scanned and turned emu on, but still no joy. I live in East london, near Essex and it's the asian channels which have been lost.

'IF' it is the end of the the starview4 box, can someone recommend which is currently the best box to purchase (for London) and where from???

Its not just the Starview but ALL cable boxes that will cease to work with the new nagra3 encryption.
