hi folks .this is my first posting so bare with me.i have 2 starview boxes and i think they are starview 2. they are silver with the box written on them on the right hand top corner of machine.last week i lost all channels and was told that the dreaded nag 3 had struck.anyway i spent all day tuesday scanning and factory setting etc and finally i got all channels back.must of auto scanned at least 10 times.feeling very happy with myself i thought i would go upstairs and do my other box.after another few hrs i could not get it to store or even detect any channels.as a last resort i went back to box number 1 and took a note of the frequencys for the channels on it and then entered these numbers 1 at a time into the manual scan mode and in the end got all channels back.long winded i know but i got there in the end.dont know how long it lost but at least i happy for now.not sure if this info will help any one but thought i wud share anyway. ok cheers

where are you,? always helps. might be better to scan upstairs box downstairs or remove d/stairs box before you scan upstairs,if you get my point....YNWA.. -
always best to scan from wall socket/main feed to box for best
