starview 1 comes on then goes of

Hi my pal has a starview 1 (its a clone) it was flashed with the wrong firmware so iam told,the box was dead,i had a friend have a look at it ,he has sorted the power supply and now there is some power to the box,it comes on then goes of, can this be fixed or should i just throw it out.

try reflashing it with the clonesafe version cryptstar v1.5 core 257
