My friend phoned me today saying that starview 6 works in Ireland and that N3 has no affect on this box.

How much truth is in this rumour?

Is this the reciever that cracks N3?

My friend phoned me today saying that starview 6 works in Ireland and that N3 has no affect on this box.

STVU 6 works on N*L CABLE in EIRE if you connect box to
internet. It uses a server as way around NAGRA 3.
There are no servers yet for N*L mmds or CHO*US as far as I
am aware. Don't know how long this method will continue to work. Might be wise not to hook up to NET using N*L broad-
band.
