    Nagravision 3 on Starview boxes

When our area goes fully to Nagravision 3 will all the starview boxes be rendered useless or will it be a case waiting for a new firmware software download to update the encryption functions of the box to receive all the channels again as I am getting lots of enquiries

    Hello
All Starview boxes will be rendered useless once Nagra 3 is in full force along with the other models out there.

Once your are goes to N3 thats it m8, end of free cable tv.
N3 system has been used on satellite for a numbe of years and have not been cracked yet so it is going to be a very long time before it is cracked, it ever.
Best to look into C/S or new boxes with Ethernet/Lan ports which connect to servers.
