the box super usb 8882 error

looking for help on this matter

my genuine sv4 has the 8882 error i have the max232 kit with a null modem cable aswell but the software that came with the max232 kit has a virus on it and is useless

I have downloaded the various files and fixes from here when i run gtrom loader and load file it just sits there doing nothing.

I have followed all the instructions and 100% sure that i am doing it the right way.

any help.

are you using the null modem cable on a pc with xp and serial port.try selecting a different com port1,2,3 or 4 to see which works.

I have tried 2 pc's both with xp one with serial port and one has a USB serial converter.
