hi have tried both downloads for starview 4 usb. goes on stick and shows on box but when i press ok nothing happens. please help

The file in downloads contains the firmware, logo and other files in a winrar format. Have you used winrar to unpack it first?

Google winrar, download it. After installing winrar you can extract the files from the firmware download you got here. There is a file called readme with the folder. Read that for instructions on how to flash your SV4.

loaded file and got it working for a day, now a mssage poss up "updating file" anybody help!!!!!

starview updates to 130 % then stops and starts again

im totally new to this. had my box in september, managed to download the software and its been working. now today its updating. my mums is the same and so is my uncle. according to my box i have version 8.
are we all in same boat in uk? how will i know when we arent? i m totally stuck!!! help!!!!!

Stick this f/w on a flash drive along with the logo file mate and plug it into your box, Install it off the usb, Then go to menu key in 1570 turn on keycode and scan. Job done!
