    Starview and Virgin TV

    Hi

I have just moved house and i'm trying to decide between Sky, Virgin & BT. A friend of mine said to go with Virgin because i can pay for the basic package and then i will be able to buy a Starview HD Combo Reciever and get all the channels. I have mentioned that i didn't think you could do this anymore because of the updates that have been sent out by Virgin but he said it didn't matter. He said that because i would have the signal coming into my house and because i would have a legitamate box on the go, the Starview box would still work. Does this make sense and will it still work.

    Thanks in advance

        Thanks for the replies...

My friends old box broke a little while back and he has just paid ?190 for a new one. Looks like it may be a bit of a waste of money. I think it may work for him briefly though as according to some of the other threads, the Virgin updates have not yet got to his area.

What is a sat side and cs?

        Thanks again

just to clear things up, the only boxes that will work on cable or the sv 6/7 and the kv A750/780 they work by c/s, as stated google for more info.

This is insane, please people stop asking such obviously illegal questions on the forums.I just cant believe the people that's popping up here and what questions they are asking!.
people please do your research with google,as you are doing the forums no favours at all by asking dodgy questions.
I hope the mods can remove these numb skulls!
