The box super no programs found

Hey,

There was a couple of channels earlier that had no signal to them, so i did a factory reset. When i did a rescan, it goes through and comes up 0 programs found. Now i dont even get any freeview channels.

Any ideas? I'm in coventry on virgin (ntl)

to anyone who's starview usb has gone down you really need to get v1.12 firmware.our box had gone down we tried everything and this is the only thing that worked.when re-scanning you will get all the channels doubled,just do the edit and delete thing and everything will be cushty(for the time being)

If you do a factory reset first that should do away with any double channels.

Im not sure that mine is the usb one. I've been doing a bit of reading and i need to use a null modem cable to connect. So do you think by upgrading the firmware i'll fix it for now? Where can i find this firmware?

that was for another box not yours,factory reset 0000 to delete auto scan your provider and emu to on.

Exactly what I've done. But still no channels!

Not a single one mate. Not even 1 - 4.

try another provider,as you have to get channels either way.
maybe check provider has not had a breakdown.

Not tried other providers but I know my provider is cool cause my official box works fine.

it had been reported as you had to try others as provider had changed,it wont harm your providers box as it probably changes itself.i presume coaxial is going into cable input.

my subbed box works fine... sv3 only picks up with t/pest or xc/w, even tho i am in an x nthell area...try it...

Anymore ideas? What about the keys, has anyone got those and should i check them? Im a complete novice at this, but quite a fast learner. Its just weird that i had channels, but then after factory reset, rescan, now cant find a single one.

starview box usr super lost channels

Hi,
Like a few others, seem to have lost some channels. Got v1.12 loaded. Rescan finds no new channels.. reluctant to factory reset as last post said they did this and lost all channels. Im in coventry.. Any suggestions??
