starview 5 factory reset

can anyone help me out im tryin to use my starview 5 to receive fta channels as nagra 3 has now hit my area but im having trouble deleting the firmware i uploaded onto it a while ago i keep reseting to factory setings to wipe it clean but every time i try to scan for channels the drop down list still appears with t*w n*t etc & im tryin to scan for channels for fta channels via terestrial & this drop down list is stopin me & i just cant shift it. thanx

u only get 5 channels from cable , u r best getting a freeview box for 20 notes

im not using cable anymore i just want to use the starview as a freeview box via ariel

i was under the impresion it could be used as a fta box as it has an ariel in socket & it didnt come with the cable drop down list on it until i put the firmware on it

when the box came to you first the firmware was fta as you could scan channels and as keycode could not be done the open channels you could view,all you can try is moving into favourites the channels you have left,when all channels move to n3=blank screen.

Yeah smirnoff exacly that m8 i just wanna use it as a freeview box now via aeriel but cant scan for freeview channels cos i cant get rid of the list of cable networks wen i try 2 automatic scan & its still there even after factory reset

missed that and no it wont work on roof aerial,a freeview box is what you need.starview has a cable tuner and with n3 now useless
