Channels not showing/black screen

Hello, I am new here, my first post.

I have a cable box named "The super box" with usb.

Recently all the channel show a black screen expect bb1,bb2, itv ect ... the free channel.

4 weeks ago, the movie channel went black screen, last week it was the sports channel and the kids channel, now showing black screen.

Only today i have read about nagra 3, not sure it affect me now. I live in hayes (yeading), london .... does it affect me yet?

I scan using TW (the first option), i think its virgin media

I heard there is a new s/w 1.12 ... is that my solution to my problem?

Please help, this happent to me 3 months ago, took it to a cable dealer .. paid him and he put in a new software upgrade for me, everything was ok ... now i went back to him, and he keeps telling me, there is no new software upgrade and i just have to wait. He tells me it could take months, maybe never.

More to the point I can't beleive you paid someone to "upgrade" a sv usb, how much did you get charged for 2 minutes of his time? please post back & let us know! looks like I've been missing out on easy money.

He wanted ?10, but i dropped him down to ?5, i thought i was getting a good deal at the time....

Only after he said, there was no new software upgrade, i decided to google it myself, to check myself ... i had no knowledge of neg 3 or any firmware upgrade until today.

If i knew how easy it was, i could have done it myself all those times.

There are a lot of people who would pay for a software upgrade ... i know atleast 6 people, like myself who has paid ?5-?10 to get an upgrade.

Anyway, thats the past .... what now? i check the neg3 list, and hayes is included. Should i throw away my box ?? will there ever be a fix or solution?

doubt if we will ever get a fix, but heres hoping... done loads of upgrades, could have made a few bob, but its a great feeling, ripping murdoch and bransten off....
