Starview through virgin media...?

alright guys,
ive got a starview 5 running through virgin media. i heard about its all ending etc as i lost some channels!

so i came on here and people all said to download the new firmware, did that and no joy!!!! but i have noticed a little clock in my info bar if that means anything???

help please

have you tried a factory reset and auto scan your provider and keycode enable?

yeah, only thing is the order in which i do it all....? could you tell me please? especially as liverpool are on tonight

erase channels factory reset/default oooo to delete
auto scan your provider from direct feed
menu1570 enable keycode and exit out.

yeah thought so think it must be n3...is it definatley the case that the starview wont work as soon as n3 hits?

if so would a starview 5 work if i changed my provider to sky?

???????????? Sv 5 is for cable not sat.With cable if you are hit with N3 you should still get a few FTA channels

Don't quote me, but I heard you won't even get FTA channels. Just 1,2,3,4 and 5 I heard.

vm will prob encrypt all fta channels, as no other boxes should be legally connected to their network only proper subbed boxes

these boxes dont work anymore , Any SV box now cant watch any paid channels , IS THAT RIGHT including the HD combo.

i have a black box 500 and have same problem has yourself just getting free tv stations as well
