    Starview HD combo duplicate channels

    Hi there,
I have rescanned my starview HD combo as all my channels were lost. Now all the channels are duplicated. I did a factory reset and rescanned which made things worse. Now some channels are more than 2. eg. I have got 10 cahnnel 5s. Very annoying. Is there anyway to get rid of it. I am using the Feb 12 firmware. Did search, could not find a solution for Starview. Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks

sounds like you did not factory reset with multiple channels.

Factory reset again and scan using a different symbol rate. Without knowing your general location it is hard to say. Or wait for a day or so until alignment is finished in your area and then scan.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am in Birmingham and on Virgin. symbol rate in 6952 as it is recommeded on the how to for virgin. Can I scan with a different symbol rate..? If yes, what would that be? I did try deleting all channels then rescan. But no joy.

Guys.. this is really annoying me. Tried everything but stilll cannot get rid of the duplicate channels. Any other suggestions. Also I have noticed that when I factoy reset and scan again, channels doesnt show up initially. I have to try several times to get the channels, which is weired and a bit worrying that I feel that I may not get the channels at all.
