new vermin n3card

hi my friend has an additional legit samsung vbox in 1 room with new n3 card, i took the box over to my place an plugged it in as i had a sv5,
i got all the channels he subscribed for.
however would it be possible to use a spare n3 card on another vm box, or are they paired to each box,because vermin sent out an extra card by mistake to my friend,
any suggestions???
