    Starview 2 missing channels...

    Hi all,

I have just come back from Holiday and am gutted to see that my Starview "The Box II" just comes up blank. I have tried to re-scan but nothing. I then looked at a few suggestions on some of the forums here and tried to reset the factory default settings and try again. When trying to scan again no channels are found. The current firmware version is 2.03 I suspect that I need a newer version but wouldn't know where to start.
I have tried going to menu and doing the 1570 bit as well but still no joy. I live in the Northamptonshire area if that makes a difference.

Can someone please take pity on a humble newbie and point me in the right direction.

    Sven...

you have a starview 5 and v2.03 is the correct firmware for your box.
if you are scanning on your corect provider (Northampton = NTL) and getting no channels then try the other providers as strangely some people are getting them on chorus

Thanks to all, especially Smoggy. Chorus worked like a charm. A friend of mine has been trying to sort his out since Wednesday and still hasn't had any luck. Oh well I guess that's the power of the post.

          Thanks again.
