when you say certain bb package
well if you use a 3g dongle you have to get a certain router then for that
also id recommend staying away from your cable provider's broadband just to be on the safe side, but i do know a couple of mates who are taking a chance with there cable provider broadband and well nothing has happened or said to them so far

i dont think you can use a 3g dongle as have to connect via ethernet port. Best to use any other broadband provider apart from vermin bit risky. box works well not much freezing

you can use a dongle but you have to buy a certain router for it, which converts it then so you can use it through an erthnet port or wireless for comuter/laptop aswell
(also they are not ment to be that good either)
as you said better connecting through a broadband erthnet and not through your cable provider either.
